Why it's different for women
The difference is your biology.
How your body responds to treatment is shaped by your wider health, including the hormonal shifts of perimenopause and menopause. Your clinician takes the whole picture into account, not just the number on the scales.
- Your wider health and history are considered, not just your weight.
- Your course of care is built around age, appetite, sleep and energy levels.
- As your body changes through your life stages, treatment is adjusted.

What’s included
Inside your course of care.
Your course of care is built on your health profile. Medication prescribed around your biology. Regular clinician check-ins. Ongoing support, with treatment adjusted as your body responds.
GLP-1 works by slowing down digestion, reducing your appetite and helping you feel fuller for longer. Quietens food noise. Prescribed if suitable.
Eligibility
Is treatment suitable for me?
Prescribing weight-loss treatment starts with your body mass index (BMI). This is about safety, not judgement. It gives you an idea whether GLP-1 medication is suitable before taking an online consultation.
Your BMI is a screening estimate for eligibility, not a diagnosis. Once you have completed your online consultation, a clinician will review your health profile. This will determine whether treatment is right for you.
Based on the 21% average body-weight reduction over 72 weeks in tirzepatide trials (Jastreboff et al., NEJM 2022). Individual results vary.
You may be eligible
Treatment can be appropriate at this BMI if you also have a weight-related health condition. A clinician reviews your full picture before deciding.

Support & safety
The support that makes the difference.
GLP-1 side effects are mostly gastrointestinal, reported by roughly 12–18% of patients, and usually temporary. Here’s what they look like, and the people who support you through them.

“Most side effects are mild and settle as your body adjusts. What matters is that you're never on your own. We check how you're feeling at every review and adjust your plan whenever you need.”

What the side effects look like
Usually mild, and most noticeable in the first weeks or after a dose step-up. It should settle as your body adjusts. Smaller meals and slower eating help. If persistent, your clinician can hold or adjust your dose.
Typically linked to eating large or rich meals early in treatment. Your care team will talk through eating patterns that help, and your clinician can adjust your dose if needed.
Tends to appear early on in treatment and pass within days. Stay hydrated, and if it continues beyond a few days, message your care team. Your clinician can adjust your dose if needed.
Slower digestion is part of how GLP-1 treatment works. Fibre, fluids and movement usually help. If it persists, your clinician can advise on next steps.
For more on side effects and what to expect, see our FAQs. If anything persists, your clinician can adjust your treatment.

In their words
Women who felt actually heard.
I'd tried everything and felt written off. Curate actually listened, built a plan around me, and a year on the weight has stayed off.
The reviews are what made it work. My plan was adjusted twice based on how I actually felt, not a fixed schedule.
Calm, honest and never pushy. They told me when to slow down. That's when I knew I could trust them.
Built around her
Your treatment moves with you.
This isn't a template, a fixed plan or a generic prescription. Your clinician builds your course of care based on your health profile. Curated healthcare adapts with you.

Am I eligible for the Wegovy pill? BMI and criteria explained
Eligibility for oral semaglutide rests on BMI, weight-related conditions and your wider health. How the criteria work, and what an assessment actually checks.

What to eat on the Wegovy pill
The tablet adds a food-timing rule no injection has, and a smaller appetite raises the stakes on what fills it. A practical eating guide for oral semaglutide.

Can you take the Wegovy pill at night?
Mornings do not suit everyone. Whether night-time dosing of oral semaglutide can work, what the absorption rules demand, and how shift workers can manage.

I'm in perimenopause: is this suitable for me?
Often, yes. Your assessment captures your hormonal stage and history so your clinician can decide what's appropriate and safe for you specifically. If something else would serve you better, they'll say so.
What if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
Weight-loss treatment isn't suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Your clinician will talk you through safe options and timing.
How do I know if I'm eligible?
Eligibility is based on your assessment, including measurements, health history and goals. There's no charge to find out, and you're never pressured to proceed.
Can I pause or stop?
Yes, you're in control. You can pause or stop any time from your account, and your clinician will advise on doing so safely.
